This policy describes how Homebound (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our software and services that connect to third-party platforms, including Meta (Facebook) products when you authorize access.
1. Information we process
Depending on your use of the app and optional integrations, we may process:
- Account and profile identifiers provided by a platform (for example, a Meta user ID) when you sign in or grant permissions.
- Content you choose to import (for example, posts or media you export or request) for display in your personal archive or site.
- Technical data such as server logs (IP address, timestamps, HTTP requests) needed to operate and secure the service.
2. How we use information
We use this information only to provide the features you request (e.g. import, display, and publish your content), to maintain security, and to comply with law. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Meta / Facebook platform
If you connect a Meta account, our use of information received from Meta is governed by your Facebook app settings and Meta’s Platform Terms. We only request permissions and data needed for the app’s stated functionality.
4. Retention and deletion
We retain data only as long as needed for the service or as required by law. You may request deletion of data associated with your use of Homebound as described on our User Data Deletion page.
